Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of CargoTrak (the "Service") at https://cargotrak.co.uk. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding your password and one-time codes, and for all activity on your account. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. Subscriptions & billing

  • CargoTrak is offered on a tiered subscription model. Plans, prices and included usage are shown on the in-app pricing page and at checkout.
  • New tenants receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are at our discretion and granted on a case-by-case basis.
  • You may cancel at any time from the Subscription page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or content prohibited by Meta's WhatsApp Business policies.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to disrupt the Service.
  • Use the Service for illegal goods, sanctioned trade routes, or any activity that violates applicable export controls.
  • Impersonate another tenant, user or organisation.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you upload. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the data you put into CargoTrak.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Meta, Stripe, cloud providers) and force-majeure events may cause downtime.

6. Warranties & disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CargoTrak's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, abusive behaviour, non-payment, or for legal/regulatory reasons. On termination your data is retained for 30 days then deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
